Dunedin Cares Pantry Announcement

FOOD DISTRIBUTION HOURS


Dunedin Cares, Inc is located at 1630 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin, FL. behind the Faith Lutheran Church.


Q: Do I need to wear a mask?

A: Yes, all guests and volunteers need to wear a mask.


Q: How often can I come to get food for my family?

A: Starting Oct 1st, 2021, we are returning to one visit every 30 days for our guests.


Q: Can I pick up food for more than one family?

A: If the person you want to shop for is registered with Dunedin Cares you may shop for them. If not registered, they would need to personally register.


Q: Do you only serve Dunedin residents?

A: No, all zip codes are welcome.


Q: Do you have organic and gluten-free items?

A: We have what is donated, it changes every week.


Q: Do I need to fill out an application?

A: We do not require an application or proof of financial situation. We do register each new guest with Name, Number in Household, Zip Code, and Email.


Q: What do I need to bring?

A: Just an ID. Drivers license, student ID or government ID is fine.


What to expect:


When arriving, guests will be asked their name, zip code and how many people are in their family. 


Shopping can be a 20-minute+ wait. Guests are asked to remain in their vehicles until their number is called See our CDC guidelines here.


Starting Oct 1st, 2021, we are returning to our pre-Covid limit of one shopping trip per 4 weeks per family. 


Our helpful volunteers will assist you while you shop for the items you need most. We also provide bread, bakery, frozen meat, and vegetable items when available. 


Dunedin Cares distributes Non-Perishable and Perishable food to Dunedin residents that need that extra help during difficult times. Volunteers will greet you with a smile. 


Returning clients only need to show their id.
